Lazy Summer Days

Posted: August 15, 2013 in POETRY 2013 -

Summer days are lazy days,
Too warm to really do anything.
But sit in the sun and relax,
With a book or something else to pass time.

Listening to the birds in the trees sing,
The traffic as it passes in the distance.
The buzzing bees and scurrying insects,
And other wildlife enjoying the sunshine.

Laying in the back garden,
Soaking up the suns warm rays.
Enjoying the weather while I can,
Yes, I absolutely love lazy summer days.
