The Soundtrack Of My Life

Posted: February 10, 2015 in TANKA POEMS

Music creates a memory,
Feelings, people and places.
I hear a certain song,
Striking emotions from within.

Remembering when it was heard,
The situation and surroundings.
Things around me at the time,
What my mood was like as well.

Music creates a memory,
No matter if its good or bad.
It will always be a part of me,
As the soundtrack of my life.

Keeping things all nice and clean.
Cleaning out cobwebs,
Must be done the weekly chores,
Doing housework is a pain!

Thoughts Of Summer Days

Posted: January 20, 2014 in TANKA POEMS

Clinging by a thread.
One more thought about those times,
Remembering you.
Thoughts of the happy moments,
How I miss you summer days.

Staring Out

Posted: January 16, 2014 in TANKA POEMS

View from my window.
Watching people rushing by,
Often gazing in.
They catch me watching them pass,
I shouldn’t really stare out

Christmas Chaos

Posted: December 1, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

December first comes,
The madness and stress begins.
People rush about,
Like the world’s going to end.
Christmas time is here once more!
