Rainbow

Posted: November 30, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

Looking at the sky,
Thousand colours in a row.
Vibrant and so still,
Dancing across the white clouds.
Stunning us all with your beauty.

Autumn Leaves

Posted: November 28, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

Dancing in the wind,
Shaking calmly to and fro.
Falling to the floor,
Crunching below peoples feet.
Making the trees look naked!

Snowman

Posted: November 28, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

A man stands alone,
Scarf and hat to keep him warm.
Watching people pass,
Never uttering a word.
Sun comes up and he is gone.

Headaches

Posted: November 24, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

My head is pounding,
It’s going to explode soon.
Will not go away,
Nothing takes the pain away.
Headaches are horrible!

Frosty

Posted: November 23, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

Temperature drops,
The air grows cold and chilly.
Jack frost visits us,
Painting landscapes icy white.
Silly people slide on paths!

Waiting

Posted: November 22, 2013 in TANKA POEMS

I stand here again,
It’s cold and I’m so fed up.
I’m checking my watch,
You always keep me waiting.
Why can’t you turn up on time?
